Cereals procurement and contracting agent

We are looking for experienced and dedicated procurement and contracting agents for the MUNTENIA (Giurgiu, Teleorman, Ilfov, Călărasi, Ialomița, and Brăila) and MOLDOVA (Neamț, Iași, Bacău, Suceava, Vaslui, and Botoșani) regions. If you have at least 3 years of experience in Agribusiness or cereal trading, we welcome you to join our team!

The work is mainly carried out in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Identify farmers and other industry players to conclude contracts for the purchase of cereals and oilseeds;
• Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio partners;
• Maintaining and promoting the company’s image in the market in its area of activity;
• Implement business strategy and ensure KPIs are met;
• Request for quotations, negotiation and purchase in accordance with quality procedures and standards;
• Regular reporting on sales activities and targets achieved;
• Ensuring that partnerships are carried out in accordance with agreed contractual terms.

Skills:

• Education required: economic or agricultural studies would be an advantage;
• Good knowledge of the competitive business environment – agribusiness sector;
• At least 3 years’ experience in the commercial field;
• Experience in sales of agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, diesel) and grain purchases – an advantage;
• Observant, dynamic, commercially minded, efficient;
• Computer skills (Word, Excel);
• Real and excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• Driving licence category B – mandatory
